Indie 'till the end

Shitbuzz, whilst cycling home from work just when I was getting smug about it and wondering why I ever got the bus I find myself lying on the ground cursing the day someone put a curb there. In a touching metaphor for life I clambered right back up, brushed it off and cycled home. However, when 3 days later the arm still won't straighten concerned family members decided it's perhaps time to get it checked out (mostly due to previous history of broken bones left to reset incorrectly..hem).
However, when lumbered with a standard grade white sling I decide this simply will not stand. Like any blogger worth their salt quickly slapped a sweet silk scarf on over it (with some help from a kindly first aid trained technician) et voila, statement injury wear for the 21st century girl about town.

Also, not to brag but getting it signed by Zach Condon'll also do the trick.
Nah, I am bragging. He's preeeetty.

The Du Rag is Back!..

Just at work, just pricing me some galviscon when a striking young fellow strutted into the shop. His ring tone was “Apple bottom jeans boots with the fur…..”

He wore…
red flip flops, white socks, khaki green three quarter length trousers , a red hoody and his crowning glory a white du rag.

I was particularly impressed with the matching of the socks to the du rag and the top to the flip-flops, breaking up the whole red/white ensemble with the green trousers. He bought Head and Shoulders anti dandruff shampoo and Beconaise (because even du rags can get hay fever).

Clearly this marks a trend back toward Hedwig’s early days as Du-rag worshippers. Some people have suggested that a certain Hedwig fashion blogger should retrieve his lost du rag before he gets left behind…..

Some may call it excess

But, I mean, if Coco* said it's chic...
Also, this can serve as a handy reminder and source of strength on my 1 month shopping hiatus, April 1st, it begins.

*Not this one, this one.

While i've nothing of worth to say..

I'll continue this trend of flinging pretty pictures at you in the hope you get all distracted.
Okay, so I know she pisses off alotta people and I don't really know about her personal life (or even acting skills) but Sienna Miller dresses hot.
Like, really hot. Not even going into her personal style or anything...she's got some amazing looks down in some of her films. And i get she's not actually dressing herself in these but costume designers don't generally pose for photos so Sienna's what we got.
Alfie and Factory Girl (not even gonna go into Edie, it's a whole other post) are obvi the sixties look, amazing. Then in the Edge of Love she proves she's not a one trick pony with sweet Aran jumpers and 40s chic.
But I didn't need to say all that 'cause basically, looook..

Also

I know, we're on a bit of a bike buzz but has anyone seen this dublin route planner

Not only does it tell you how to get your way about town ( although it suggests that i head to school via o connell street on my two wheels rather than on a quieter road) but it calculates how many cals you'll burn. Awsome or what!
