Free Pants

Seeing as my Tuesdays are free enough when asked to do some pro bono work helping out at a fashion show last week in Arnotts I figured I may aswell.
Now, obvi this is Ireland and so McQueen it was not..however it was pretty sweet and basically alls I had to do was strip my model (Suzanne) when she came in and help her into the next outfit. And, to be fair, one of the dresses was Westwood Anglomania
'sides that it was all the free champagne (and prosecco if we're being accurate) I could get my hands on* and a sweet goody bag at the end of the night. Not a bad haul, DKNY knicks, perfume and a mascara.
Superglam, riiiight?!





*Seriously, every time I took a sip it was refilled, i exercised what can only be descibed as extreme restraint.

Hedwig got a sweet tiny baby makeover. Got her hair cut up all short and dyed platinum blonde! Except all that really changed is the yellow hue in the background and the coulour of the blog post titles. Any objections?

We went, she sang and we got rolls

So Bad M and i hit the Rds music show today. It made this Sunday feeling Saturday feel like how a Saturday should be. fun. Got our lovely lil gold wristbands for the day and off we went. The whole place was full of people jamming on instruments and lil gig sessions all around the gaff. We went to the 2fm station 1st for some freebies. a tee and keyring. we started off well. Then we sauntered about the place just saw lots n lots of instruments. so we went back over to the 2fm place to find Imelda May performing lil snipits of her songs. so we creeped on her for a tad from the side.

After, we went over to the stage to see Miss Babe and her gang. Just Whop. All i can say. i just Wikipediad her there cos bad m and i were wondering how old she is (35), it says - "She has one dog and speaks with a tight Dublin accent." made me smile. so anyway yeah, good gig. Her and the band were havin a great ole laugh up on stage, bantering about. and by the by her hubby has the broadest shoulders ever.

We ended the day by getting some lovely chicken tikka rolls and ate them by the canel . A Saturday well spent.

My lisbon treaty Week

It's official the 80's are back... fish finger sales are up, three protests in the last week and oulwans screaming at canvassing YESgeneration yuppies. Skinhead boots are back in business, trenchcoated sinnfeiners are infesting the streets jumping on any cause band wagon they can find and the numbers of those bringing in Mammy sandwiches to college is sky rocketing.

It is nice though cause now we can be the annoying mature students of the future who can interupt future economic's lecturers to tell stories of how we lived through the dreary bleak noughties so therefore we don't need to listen because we have recession times etched into our skin.

P.s memba I told ya.... Vote No or by christmas we'll be working in German owned sweatshop stitching puma runners (I read that on a heart shaped poster so sweet it's gotta be true)
